Recent PhD graduate accepts SSHRC PDF in The Hague

Carol Hunsberger has accepted a SSHRC post-doctoral research fellowship in the Netherlands. She will be moving to The Hague in May to work with Dr. Jun Borras at the International Institute of Social Studies. Carol’s research will look at the political economy of the international biofuel trade, including links to large-scale international land deals. Carol finished her PhD in January, supervised by Mike Brklacich. The title of her thesis was “Great aims, small gains:  Jatropha-based biofuels and competing discourses of development in Kenya”.
