DGES Geocryology Lab

DGES’ Geocryology lab, headed by Dr. Chris Burn, recently got together for the annual lab photo.  The Geocryology lab group’s research focus is on the relations between climate and permafrost, the carbon content of permafrost, and ground-ice formation in near-surface permafrost.

Dr. Burn’s research in the North was recently featured in Research Works.
